The Lindsey Optics Brilliant² Rota Pol is a rotating polarising filter designed to fit 4" x 5.65" cine matte boxes. It allows for simple and effective rotation of the included 138mm Round Brilliant-Pol Circular Polariser, which is useful for wider angle lenses and large zoom lenses. The rotation can be done by hand or with a motor mounted on the handle, and the filter is mounted on an all-aluminium main gear for smooth movement.
The polarising filter is made with Schott B270 "water white" optical glass and has a broadband anti-reflection coating. It reduces reflections on glass, water, and other reflective objects, as well as saturating blue skies and increasing colour saturation in landscapes.
