Ce zoom standard 24-70mm (nouvelle version 2) en monture E de la série G Master de Sony offre, comme son prédécesseur, toujours une ouverture maximale de f/2.8 sur toute la plage de zoom; mais il est plus petit et léger de 190g. Il intègre de plus un bague librement assignable au diaph par exemple.

C'est le zoom standard parfaitement adapté aux caméras des séries Sony A7 ou FX, tout particulièrement en configuration avec des stabilisateurs.
