La PYXIS 12K est une caméra numérique haut de gamme, elle dispose d'un capteur RGBW 12K plein format qui reproduit des tons chair précis et des couleurs riches et organiques. Elle est équipée d'un capteur 36 x 24 mm à large plage dynamique et d'un filtre passe-bas optique intégré, parfaitement adapté au capteur. Trois modèles sont disponibles en monture EF, PL ou L. Elle offre également deux enregistreurs CFexpress et d'une connexion Ethernet pour partager vos médias sur Blackmagic Cloud. Elle enregistre même simultanément du Blackmagic RAW 12 bits et des fichiers proxy H.264.
